I've always loved my dogs.  But, after working long hours as a salesman, the last thing I wanted to do when I got off work was go pick-up dog food.  I searched the LA area for a service that would deliver pet food, but none exsisted.  They say necessity is the mother of invention, so, in October of 1992, I decided to start my own service delivering products for all your pets' needs to where ever you are. In the beginning, the whole business was being run from the garage of my one bedroom apartment.  But at some point, our distributors put their feet down, giving us an ultimatum:  Either find a commercial site or they could no longer have their 18-wheeler trucks deliver to us in our residential area.  So, in      September of 1995  , we opened our doors at 1262 S. La Cienega Blvd.  With this store as our new home base, we were making deliveries all over the city.  Even though we had deliveries from the Malibu to Pasadena, Silver Lake's vibe and the unique charm of its residents, always beckoned us.  Another search ended in August of 2002, after my wife, Orli, and I found the perfect spot for our new store and opened another Pet Express for our east side customers at 2472 Glendale Blvd, keeping to our committment of offering only the best, all natural, foods for your pet at the best prices in town.
